Design process

To design a tattoo for you, we prefer to work with an idea, any specific elements you want to see in your tattoo and inspiration pictures of what you like. From these examples we can see what style you want your tattoo in. Keep some space free for our professional vision to turn your idea into a beautiful and working tattoo design. Not all images or ideas are suitable as tattoos so it would be a shame if we had to disappoint you because you were so fixated on that idea.

Sometimes it happens that a client has additional information after booking an appointment or after a consultation. You can send this information free of charge up to three days after booking your appointment. Every client is included in the design process and if we have to go through a tattoo design again later on due to changes or new ideas, this will cost us extra work. There will be costs associated with this.

A tattoo design is most beautiful when it fits you as a person. That is why we think it is important that you have already thought a little about your tattoo. Without your own input, we can therefore not help you with the design of a tattoo. Not every tattoo needs to have a deep meaning or be thought out far in advance. During a consultation we will help you convert your idea into elements for your tattoo. The artists also have flash designs on their social media. These are designs, ready to be put, that the artists like to do. These designs we also put only once.

Unfortunately we do not mail the design in advance. There is time to make small adjustments on the day itself. This often works better and faster than emailing back and forth.

Keep in mind that it is often only a line drawing. So you do not get to see the end result. We know how we are going to give the interpretation to the tattoo and it is not necessary for us, and a waste of time, to work out the whole design. During the tattooing process we also like to keep a little freedom. Sometimes we find out on the spot that a different interpretation works better than previously thought out. We understand that it is difficult to imagine what your tattoo will look like from a line drawing, so be sure you are okay with our approach.

If you would like to discuss a tattoo or get advice from a tattoo artist on your tattoo idea, you can request a consultation.
It is best to use the appointment form on the website and indicate that you want a consultation. Cover tattoos and sleeve tattoos always require a consultation. A consultation takes 30 minutes and costs € 35,-. A consultation for a sleeve can take an hour and costs €70,-. This will be calculated when you book an appointment.
